US Cremonese have bolstered their squad with the loan signing of young talent Adin Ličina from Juventus. The 19-year-old German defender will join the Grigiorossi for the entire 2026-27 season.
The deal was finalized this week after a late push from the Lombard club. The loan is a 'dry' one, meaning there are no purchase options or clauses preventing Ličina from returning to wear the Bianconeri shirt next summer. Napoli, through their sporting director Giovanni Manna, had attempted a surprise move to sign the player on a permanent basis, but Juventus rejected the offer. Mirko Di Natale confirmed the Turin club "rejected a late bid from Napoli to try and sign Ličina outright."
Who is Adin Ličina
Adin Ličina is a 19-year-old centre-back who joined Juventus from Bayern Munich's youth setup during the winter transfer window earlier this year. He spent the second half of last season playing for both the Primavera and the Next Gen squad. This summer he was also part of the squad that undertook the preseason tour, getting his first taste of senior-level football under manager Luciano Spalletti. There were rumors Juventus could promote him to the first team after returning from the tour in Australia, but they ultimately opted for a loan spell. Ličina is a close ally of Kenan Yildiz, another former product of Bayern's youth academy.
