US Cremonese announces the appointment of Christian Botturi as new sports director. Botturi has a long experience in the sector, with important roles in Atalanta, Montichiari, Lumezzane, Mantova, Inter and Brescia. He will be linked to the society until June 30, 2028. Born in 1980, Botturi starts his career as an observer in Atalanta; in 1999 he takes on the role of sports director and youth sector manager at Montichiari, a position he holds for about ten years. After a long period in the rossoblù, he follows the experiences with the first team of Lumezzane and the youth sectors of Mantova, Inter and Brescia. He was also sports director at Brescia in the 2021-22 season. Subsequently, he passes to Pro Sesto, where he is the protagonist of an excellent season that ends with a 4th place in the championship in the 2022-23 season and at Mantova: with the virgiliani the sports director achieves first the promotion to Serie B in 2024 and then the salvation in 2025.
